Hossam Ed-Deen Allam, Lecturer Al Azhar University, said that Islam emphasizes the principles of peace and coexistence between all mankind.
Allam added, in a new episode of (The Revelation ) program, that Islam encourages mutual understanding and interaction between different religions, nations and cultures to avoid clashes and violence.
He mentioned that God sent Prophet Mohammad to all mankind as in Surah Saba verse 28 " We have sent you 'O Prophet' only as a deliverer of good news and a warning to all humanity"..
He pointed out that diversity is one of the manifestations of the Divine Will, to highlight the importance of respecting the other and the value of coexistence.
He stressed his point through reciting verse 118 of Surah Hud, in which God said " And if your Lord had willed. He would have made mankind one community……" .
The scholar finally declared that Islam stresses the aspect of openness towards other fellow humans for the benefit of all humanity.
